So, I'm now pretty close to the level you were when you made this video on my trooper, Laguna of Shien. I went ahead and forsook some of the talents in Tactics for some buffs in the Defense tree, and it's working quite well, especially the +Elemental Crit Rate. I've just got 2/2 in Tactical Too...

@kingateam2 They need to get rid of Expertise entirely. It adds no value; in fact, it makes combat more aggravating and lopsided than it really should be. Skill differences make more than enough of a difference as it is.

On Shien, we have the same "Sith Inquisitor Infestation". They ARE powerful with crowd control, and damage output - I fought a Huttball last night where a group of three Inquisitors - across various ACs - were controlling our whole PuG team.

I used some of your tactics on my Trooper, Laguna of Shien, last night. Great videos, this is really educational for Powertechs/Vanguards everywhere.

@Yasminmonlol Temple of the Ancients is one of the few RPG dungeons that can boast the fact that it's given me - and most gamers I know - a fairly decent headache.

This is one of my least-enjoyed songs in the Dissidia Duodecim OST - I feel like the Black Mages version was better, because the percussion actually followed what was happening with the music.

Is it just me, or is the synthesized percussion in this sort of random?

I keep remembering Laguna, Ward, and Kiros running around the Lunatic Pandora excavation site every time I hear this...

Of all the things I've seen/heard Kefka say, this video gives the biggest headache of all of them. Though...

@Mictlanmatini Given that her Esper form is just like Rinoa's "Angel Wing" technique (a magical 'zerker rage), well...it's somewhat understandable.

She just needs to learn Hadoken. I knew this Black Mage once who knew the technique...

@ElFreakinCid Unfortunately, it's more similar to Ivy's sword from Soul Caliber, rather than an actual set of Chainblades (Red Mage's "better" version of the lamentably-named "Swordchucks.")

@namcodark76 Originally, Warrior of Light was a concept art piece for the first Final Fantasy game (kind of an oxymoron, but oh well.) The warrior he probably closest matches is the Fighter (who becomes a Knight after you meet up with Bahamut), but judging from the play style, he has some aspect...

I just wish Squeenix would do something like the Keyword system again, it was actually pretty clever, and some of the responses you could get by using odd keywords were pretty fun (besides the obvious ???? response when saying "Wild Rose" to Princess Hilda before you take the...

It seems you would have had more luck getting in this Golbez's face and staying in it...though he was VERY evasive the whole fight.

@atyomommashouse1 Square agrees - Duct Tape -can- fix anything. Swords, broken hearts, emo problems...you name it. The depictions of tape are proof!

@DrakeClawfang I'm playing through FFV right now, and the Mime class is a serious pain to get. The 20:00 run through the sunken tower that held the Water Crystal can seriously stink.

Kefka = Joker...on so many levels...

I like how Terra keeps Hadoukening enemies with water.

@slightlyoutofreach01 Sabin is like the Chuck Norris of the Final Fantasy series. He actually died eight installments ago, but Death hasn't had the courage to tell him.

@bangsmccoy12 There's other good games on PSP - try Half-Minute Hero if you love RPGs. Also, I've heard that FFVII Crisis Core is pretty good as well. On top of that, the remake of Final Fantasy IV isn't half bad on PSP either...

This is the version of Don't Be Afraid that Final Fantasy VIII -should- have had. It captures Squall's attitude a little more accurately than the original, I think.

Plus, it would have made the original cooler, which is always a worthy goal.

I like how Snow's theme has the kind of cliche "heroic" theme in the second chorus. Normally, were this a normal fantasy RPG, it would be in something like Trumpets or some kind of brass...but being that Snow is a more modern kind of hero, it makes sense it's in distortion guitar.

I love Guardia Forest in the Middle Ages - there's the one bush about halfway to the northern entrance with a monster who -always- runs away, and drops Shelters. It's a great way to stock up on Shelters, whilst paying nary a gold for them!
