Death & Immortality. Awake explores death and the experience of immortality.
Grief.
Death occurs because you lose your consciousness to the senses. If the senses do not grab your consciousness which belongs to the soul within you and as it stays within the soul and never gets dissipated through the senses, then death will not occur.
Awake believes that, What is the cause for death? Consciousness or "life energy" is funneling through or getting dissipated through the sense organs; so, every time you are living the life of the senses only, you are losing your life energy and you are courting death. You are coming closer to death every day, when we are engaged in the process of living this life of the senses. Then you are guaranteed to go through an experience of hell.
The opposite of hell is the experience of heaven. What happens when the consciousness falls on itself? : then you experience incredible bliss. So what happens now when we go to the bar, the movies, the night club, a beach, gives you incredible joy, that's why people go to all these places. But then there is a greater joy and that joy is when you experience the consciousness falling onto itself and not getting dissipated by the senses.
There is no end for the joy you will experience when consciousness falls on itself. Then you become like Shiva himself.
Everyone is capable of living this life of endless bliss. But then, The problem is we choose to live the life of dissipating our consciousness, of sending our energy through the senses which really is the cause of death
