@Rexinization IF an American from California or Texas emigrates to Britain, would you call him Californian-British or Texan-British? No, you wouldn't. So we don't call J-Lin Taiwanese-American, unless Taiwan is a de jure country. But it is not. It's only a de facto country.
@MegaFishyyy The constitution of Taiwan considers itself the constitution of China. And the official name of the government ruling Taiwan is the Republic of China. So the Taiwanese are Chinese, both (largely) in ethnicity and nationality.
