Alanna Janel was born on May 19th 1987 an R&B/ Pop singer that hatched and learned how to spread her wings in the city of Detroit, Michigan. At the age of thirteen knowing her talent, others began to observe her ability, taking the lead in her church choir at the age of sixteen. This Michigan beauty was above and beyond her years as an artist, displaying her musical talent at local talent shows, performing at plays, opening for Kelis and always putting on a show for her family and friends. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where music wasnt very predominant in a success rate and to be noticed, Youd have to stand out like a scare crow, stated Alanna. At times believing her dreams and desires would not come true yet so motivated with a hint of discouragement, at the age of 22 she continues to hold on to the dream she once thought was far fetched. Living by Phyllis Battome quote There are two ways of meeting difficulties: you alter the difficulties, or you alter yourself to meet them. Alanna continues paving the path to her future, with the deliberation that music is her life. And in some vague, mysterious, and subconscious way, she has always been driven by a taut inner spring that has propelled her to almost compulsively reach for perfection in music, often in fact, mostly at the expense of everything else in her life.
