Movies:
I wouldn't say that I have favorites, because I've watched entirely too many in my short time on earth. To generalize, I really just like anything that makes you think, in the true sense of the word 'think'. Outside of that, comedy is always a good movie genre. I'm a sucker for old Disney (I'm talking '60s - early '90s) because it's simply what I grew up with, and I'm a rather sentimental person. Anything that brings me back to the Hard Rock period (the '50s, '60s, or '70s) never fails to capture my interest and it's probably my favorite kind of thing to watch.
Music:
Classic Rock is the Capital of the music nation and Led Zeppelin is it's king. No one compares to their sound in my opinion. But I'm a big believer in the whole "everyone has their own tastes" thing. So if you enjoy Bieber over the classics, I won't put you down for it (even though I personally can't stand that kind of music). Other bands to my liking would be Aerosmith, Queen, Wings, Badfinger, The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, The Yardbirds, Tallest Man on Earth, Austra, Esben and the Witch, The Young Veins, Nirvana, Foxy Shazam (they're pretty much the modern-day Queen, you should check em' out), Coldplay, My Chemical Romance, Panic! at the Disco, The White Stripes, Sopor Aeternus & the Ensemble of Shadows, Fun., The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, The Kills, and... meh, I hope I didn't leave anyone out.
Books:
I'm a huge Dekkie (Ted DeKker fan) and I've read nearly all of his published works, with the exceptions of the Lost Books and a few of his thrillers (Kiss, Three, and House). I enjoy pretty much anything from Greek mythology (yes, stereotypical hippie-esque, I know), and I simply can't resist anything theology related. I'm a fan of Aleister Crowley. I thoroughly enjoy riddling out and interpreting his strange writings (I by no means believe in his ideology, but I find him very intriguing nonetheless). I love books on Psychology. I adore books on Hard Rock bands from the 70s (Hammer of the Gods being a particular favorite). It almost brings me to that wonderful, crazy decade that I never got to live in, and I never grow tired of it. I've always had a draw to dark, Occult literature and I enjoy studying anything relating to Covens or things of that nature. Last, but definitely not least, I enjoy studying demonology and reading grimoires.
