I'm not denying that Avatar is still great, but it will never again be as rich of a source of inspiration simply because it is over. It's the sad truth. There will still be videos made, but not as many as will be made for Korra while Korra airs. Although I do agree that I wish Mike and Bryan would do something else that also includes the original GAang, I don't believe you should think any worse of Korra because it doesn't have them. Like I said, we're incredibly lucky to even have this. ^^

As far as feeling anxious about Korra; why? I mean, I'm personally sad that we won't get to see any more of our old favorite characters, but everything must come to an end at some point, so I'm rather used to that sadness (Harry Potter, Series of Unfortunate Events, etc), and since making another season of Avatar will simply be stretching it too far, I think what we're getting here is the best thing we can possibly imagine for after the end of a favorite series. It's almost pretty much guaranteed that we'll like it, since it's by the original creators AND it's in the same universe, in the same timeline, just farther up ahead. At the moment, I don't see any reason to be anything but excited about it. xD

Oh, hm. Well, I'm sure people will still use the original, but it's just, since the original one has ended, much inspiration for using it has fallen by the wayside, simply because any inspiration someone might have for it has probably already been thought of, since they've known the show for so long and nothing new has come out. So it'll be significantly less than the usage of Korra, which is brand-new material for brand-new inspirations.

Haha, I'm sure when Korra comes out there will be scores of new Avatar AMV makers working on that series :3 It's mainly the fact that the original series has ended, I feel. x)
