If you do not think Fallout 3 is a mega violent game, then you have played too many violent games, and are desensitised to violence. FO3 VATS kills are ultra violent.

do you have to do these sewer missions at a certain point in the story, or can you access them anytime? i'm assuming you have to do the ones on the first part of the game before you take the ride over to Subway Town

this is one of my favourite games of 2011. Deus Ex Human Revolution and LA Noire were my other faves of last year. Rage was a great blend of shooting, racing, and RPG'ing.

Rage is a great game IMO. It's a blend of the id software shooters I grew up with in the 90s, and the Fallout games, which I also love.

The suckiest thing is that the Path of Neo tie in videogame didn't have this music in this Chateau fight scene :(

Excellent parody of the sorry state shooters are in nowadays. A few more suggestions. An instant knife melee attack, 'achievement unlocked' messages every ten seconds, character's names above all of the NPCs heads, ability to carry only two weapons at any time, cutscenes every few seconds.

I would have had RDR as number one as you have done, but the rest of my personal list would be quite different (I realise this is all personal preference). LA Noire would be number 2. San Andreas number 3 (I always preferred San to IV).

i've been playing games for close to 25 years, and this is definitely one of the best games I've ever played. It is a truly movie-like, cinematic experience.

@Adolif4 And I suppose Call of Duty is a man's shooter, eh? Doom had a campaign that lasted more than five hours, and had some real challenge. Not to mention you could carry more than two guns, and you couldn't just hide behind something and regenerate all your health.

I love PS1 Doom. The lighting effects and new sound and music make it the ultimate version for me

@WhiteboyUltima I still have Alien Trilogy, Doom, and Quake II for PS1. Agreed. They're all quality shooters. Much better than Call of Duty. There's no comparison.

The campaign and multiplayer on PS1 are SICK ( I never had the 64 version). The only thing I didn't like about the PS1 version was the frequent and annoying load times
