berndl.If the engine is geared you dont need a 540 to get high HP as it obviesly is.... engine runs on higher rpm than the prop so you dont need big cubicinch of the engine to get high power and add turbo on that and you double the nonturboenginedisplacement.....at least...

maybe that was the 170 hp 225nm torque version of the 960 with automatic. the 940 has 165 hp but higher torque on lower rpm but when you get a bit over 100 kmh with the 960 things starts to happen especially if you have the m90 manual.....you need high rpm to make the 6 cylinder engine move espe...

sounds like lycoming 360 flat 4 with fixed pitch prop due to the high rpm pitch in highspeed dive and sudden loss of rpm during step climb so....but I could be wrong

Always trailers when they wants to show of.... try a 60 tons truck and trailer instead with dubble decker config on both truck and trailer than we can talk.... only 20 horses more than the R730 but Scania had actually during the developing of its engine put out more than 900 hp so I rest my case...

There is no such thing as Volvo s40 T5. They only built s40/v40 with T4 or 2.0T or nonturbos with 1.6 1.8 and 2.0 engines the car on this clip is a s60 2.5T or T5. Btw the T4 was only a 1.9 liter engine at 200 HP. The 2.0T was rated to 164 HP. Know what your talking about before you post any dumb...

well the JA37 Viggen had more than 85000 HP in peacetime and way over 100000 HP in waremergency power if afterburner where used all the way out......

Well well, after 2004 the quality of all Volvos dropped below the floor. You could by a Ford for less money instead and have the same bad quality..... The last real Volvos are the RWD 940:s and 960:s and that´s it folks...

damasterozzy. jag hade ägt bägge bilarna ändå. bänkat 940:n till runt 400 hk på driven... inget patetiskt framkrafs här eller....
