I couldn't agree more. This is more than a "cover" but rather a radical revamp of the original, so much so that it stands alone as a song entirely in its own right, as if the original never existed. The purpose had nothing to do with watching TV at home, but the movie theater industry worried that people will watch be watching cable network programming instead of their movies, and eventually we did, including their movies.

Less people actually go to the movies then they have in the past....
