@stefanrhs... some of the very last 47, and 4955s to roll off the line were changed over to how the 60 series was. i'm not sure if the 4555 was included in that. thus the tractor is probably what it says on it.

pretty sure the 50series wasn't front wheel assist (fwa).... the proper term is mechanical four wheel drive (mfwd). don't ask me what the difference is, but it's a pretty big one.

you runnin at 5mph? (looks fast in the video) i have an 8300 (old as heck i know) and the manual always says not to go over 5 mph if possible.

ahhhh i miss fillin silo with our 4440. we use a 7820 now and it's just not as loud.

is there a reason you guys don't have a grinder/blower? we fill an 18x68' stave silo (top unloader, ring drive) and rent a grinder-blower unit so we don't have to run a mini mill down below. haven't had any trouble with spoilage (but we feed an enormous amount each day)... i don't know too many...

awesome baler! i use two jd 348 balers w/ #42 kickers on each. most of the time we bale with a 4455 mfwd and 7820 mfwd, or a 7600 2wd and 7610 2wd. i'd never consider doing hay or straw without the 348's... you red fans can keep your 575's. so far, each of my balers has done about 500,000 b...

as a proud 3rd generation pennsylvania dairy producer, i'm am disgusted by the scenery in this video. farms like this should be shut down. the rest of us who care about our animals and strive to take care of them every day can handle the demand for milk.

these are just street pulls...the real test is for trucks equipped w/ the same programmers, same tires, on the same terrain, same class (250/2500 etc), same size (reg cab or crew, etc). when all factors that could influence the test are controlled, then it's a real test. this didn't appear to ...

you can't beat a 348 baler...new holland guys w/ 575's drool at what 348's can do... we have 4 and they each do about 30,000/year (so everyone make sure you don't buy ours after trade in haha)

can't beat a 6420 and snowblower... awesome combo. our farm has a few rigs just like that (but w/ the "lucknow" blowers from up in Canada. we just can't use much anything bigger for gettin around in residential drives... our 7430 premium w/ 9' blower sits in the shop more than the 64's cause it ...

4240s are mean lil tractors aren't they! we used one to mow hay and another to run an ag bagger and silo blower...two of the best tractors we ever had
