About Perfect Planet

We present 4 tracks from our new vocal trance, chill-out CD "Perfect Planet "

Perfect Planet is an epic melodic, multi-textured, extremely detailed soundscape painting an idealised world, which is particularly euphoric and uplifting when listened to through headphones.

The four tracks: Beautiful Sky, The Roof of the World, Gobi and Tangaroa take you to some exotic and beautiful places.

We would like to gratefully acknowledge NASA and NSSDC as suppliers of this public domain photographic data on Perfect Planet's CD cover.

The full-length CD is now available for download on CDbaby, itunes, amazon etc. There are 16 tracks, 4 of which are extended versions, 4 normal length, 4 dance and 4 instrumental.

During the production of Perfect Planet we used: keyboard 'Yamaha S90ES', 'Atmosphere', 'Stylus RMX' and "SampleTank" VSTi instruments, Altiverb, Lexicon and Roland reverbs, Camel Space, Eos and SSL Duende plugins. The delay on Lynda's vocals was the Roland Space Echo.
Everything was mixed using Radar A/D converters and the 48ch Otari Concept Elite mixing desk.

STEVE STAPLEY:
Singer/songwriter, guitarist and producer, who wrote and recorded his first single at Abbey Road with EMI. Steve was a recording artist and writer at DJM in London and then lived in Los Angeles, working as a house writer for LEM America, composing songs and film music. Back in London he composed music for commercials including 'Burger King', 'Bio Yoghurt' and Northern Rock and has sung on many television commercials. Steve also sang in the 'Rock Choir' on the 'Evita' soundtrack. He composed and co-produced the award winning lullaby CD, 'Sleepy Old Town' and he has performed with 'Katrina and the Waves'.

STEVE STEWART:
Guitarist and songwriter with the original line-up of British cult rock band, 'The Enid'. He has produced and played on an impressive array of albums and has worked as producer and technical adviser with 'Katrina and the Waves' for many years. Steve has recorded 'New Model Army', 'Kim Wild', 'Mary Wilson' and 'Marillion' among others.

LYNDA HAYES: Singer/songwriter/voice-over artist, who has sung at Ronnie Scotts with Dizzie Gilespie, Oscar Peterson and Buddy Rich. Lynda has worked with Barry Manilow, Ocean Colour Scene and has recorded with Nik Kershaw, George Michael (Wham! Young Guns), Lloyd Cole and the Commotions, Meatloaf, Bonnie Tyler, All About Eve and many others. Her voice has helped sell thousands of products including; Coca Cola, Mercedes Benz, Martini, Barbie Dolls, Nescafe, Toys R Us and she has recently voiced the Alfa Romeo ad featuring Uma Therman. She has voiced hundreds of characters for a whole host of CD Rom children's computer games and learning tools which include Story Builder Series, Noddy, Encarta to name a few. For the older computer games user, she has been the voices of countless characters for games including Casino, Zombieville and many others for All in the Game, the leading producers of computer games. Lynda has also done voices for Sony PlayStation and Nintendo. Some of these include Driver 2 and Demon Racers.
