Hello and welcome to The 1985 Channel. Chances are if you're here I've angered you in some way so by all means stick around! It makes the profile stats look better.
About Me:
1. The older a song is, the better. I do not willingly listen to anything released before 1989. I am completely indifferent regarding the 1990s. The songs I absolutely despise tend to have been released in the last five years. Every major hit of the 2010s so far has been utter dog shit.
2. If you think Party Rock Anthem and On the Floor by J-Lo are good songs, I don't deem you worthy to lick dirt off the soles of my shoes.
3. I wasn't actually born in 1985.
4. If you have at least one video of a recent, popular modern pop song on your favourites list, the odds of me initiating a comment war with you are substantially increased.
5. If I do start a comment war with you I will gladly listen to what you have to say if it is well-reasoned and meaningful, but the chances of you converting me are zero.
6. BRUTUALTRUTH and mars3400 are two of the biggest numbskulls I have ever argued with on this website. You may want to let them know.
Thanks for your time. Have a nice day, unless you are an avid fan of the modern pop and clubland hits, in which case just get lost.
Regards,
The 1985 Channel
Country:
United Kingdom
Interests:
The past. Arguing with boneheads on YouTube. Hating modern music. Liking old music.
Movies:
All sorts, especially historical features. Romance films do not interest me.
Music:
I despise all modern music with a passion and think bands like LMFAO need to be banned from releasing further material. I love old music, from the 80s and earlier. ELO are probably my favourite band right now.
Books:
Historical biographies, particularly those of Prime Ministers.

I see you have blocked me just for trying to express my viewpoints on your channel. Intolerant of differing opinion, I see? That comes as no surprise to me.
You anti-Thatcher and anti-monarchy types have done nothing to convince me that your cause and views are the right way to go. Instead you alienate me from any possible sympathy I may have for any of your beliefs. And you do it damn well.
By the way, there's a train leaving at 12 midnight tonight. Be under it.
