The Story of The First Season of That's Life:

The story concept of That's Life for the first season is set in present day London. The gangster Michael Davenport is being hunted down by Howard Vance and his goons for ratting him out to the Metropolitan Police force, which leads him into a series of events to dodge his enemies, and of course dodge death which in That's Life could be just around the corner.
