samfrysause, If you go into the objects properties, you can set the object to be a "Global" object - which means, between frames, the object internal values will not change. Or you can do what mmf2ctg suggested, and use global values. These will not change between frames either.
Also, mmf2ctg, thanks for the encouragement. Are you trying to replicate a "press up to enter door" kind of game? If so, you can just make a line of code that says "when player presses up, and is overlapping "Door 1, --> set frame to "House 1." I think that would work sufficiently with some sprucing up... If not, send me a personal message with more details.
i`m not meadow hair but i know that you can set application values that will stay the same for all frames. go to the frame toolbar click on the application and go to its variables
