Also, derp again. Fortify health not only restores health but also temporarily increases your health by the amount restored. The potion you made had that effect as well as regular restore health. Read the potion effects more thoroughly.

@Thecodcast The Silver Hand have them, a bunch of werewolf hunters from the Companions questline. The weapons kind of suck though, their quality is between iron and steel, I think.

Yeah, J'zargo gives you scrolls that are effective against undead. If you test them for him, you can have him as a follower. He's very weak with physical fighting, but good at destruction magic.

Why are you worried about leveling up skills you didn't originally intend to? It doesn't much matter. It's even beneficial, because any skill that's leveled up goes to your overall level, so you can get more perks for the skills you're focusing anyway.
