@ejdbk Hah indeed. It's funny I see these bassists thinking they need to play with 6 string monsters. All the greats like Wooten, Clarke and Miller need is 4 strings. Hell they could probably play better with 1 string.

@1kydde2 You don't shred on the bass. Shredding is tasteless enough as it is on guitar, but if you're not grooving on the bass you're worthless. Stanley, Marcus and Victor always keep a groove going even when soloing, instead of mindlessly playing up and down scales very quickly.
