Texstyles is a Brooklyn Emcee with the mind of a Common and the versatility of a Jay-Z. Born and raised mainly in Bed-Stuy and Fort Greene where he is said to have met Mr. Shawn Carter, the artist born Kenneth Antoine Beckford attended Julia Richman where he met Kyambo "Hip Hop" Joshua (VP of A&R of Atlantic Records and Duke da God, A&R of Diplomat Records. "Yes, I went to school with some of the heavy hitters in the music industry right now. I know that I can rap so I am putting together a mixtape now.

Kanye, Just Blaze and I know from the kind of guy he was in high school that he has a lot of influence on the music style of a lot of artists. It's beautiful. Right now though, building up my catolog is what's on my agenda.
For a very long time I have been dedicating my life's time to aiding artists in there quest succeed at being heard by the masses, if you will but now I feel I should try my hand, so to speak.
