I'm a Deist

I grew up in an extremely conservative Christian home. Then I started examining the Bible, and examining creation. I began to realize the atrocities, contradictions, absurdities and errors in the Bible. I now believe in a God who's true word is His creation. My morals are based on what I learn from experience, observations, and reason; gifts from the one true God. There is no need for a Holy Book written by men who claimed God spoke to them. Revealed religion is a closed system that limits our ability to explore reality.
