@crimsonDead  Province actually and correct about all that. I'd advise Veriax to check out TES 1 and 2. Daggerfall was BGS's best RPG mechanic wise bar none. Skyrim and Morrowind are about the same level but very mainstreamed down. BGS has a wide enough audience now to add mechanics back tho

Fallout 3 excelled in some respects but fell flat in others. Looking at Oblivion even a lot of RPG mechanics it shares with FO was ditched. New Vegas is better in other regards too. But some of this is because the game is 2 years after 3's end of 08 release.

For New Vegas you should play a Big Guns(Obsidian made just Guns one skill but their still seperated through STR reqs) and Energy weapons character perhaps. Seems like a combination you won't see someone would do as a whole playthrough. Especially since both are so costly early on, but since you'...
