A live performance of 'Garbage' from the 1980 EP 'As Seen On TV'. Student Nurse were a seminal part of the 1980s Seattle music scene. The band was noted for art-damage inspired performance and their willingness to stand outside the mainstream of local alt-pop.
The band was fronted by Helena Rogers who also designed and silkscreened the bands beautiful posters. Those posters, and the ones she designed for other bands are now highly sought-after.
The Student Nurse song 'Recht Op Staan' is included on the 20 artist/20 song compilation THAT'S DADASTIC! available at www.dadastic.com/thatsdadastic
