in regards to the question you ask about the alienware.

it's been great so far the past 1st month i've had it.
it's fast reliable and had no issues with it and games are ment to be played on a system like this....

i'm really glad that i bought the 4 year warrenty b/c it covers hardware and software. so if have a program that is not working dell is gonna help resolve the issue. i've bought computers from dell before that there customer support is VERY forgiving and helpful. They will look after you and take care of an issue untill it is resolved.

so i would say Yeah if you can afford it buy an alienware and further more BUY THE FULL WARRENTY you have no idea a couple of hundred bucks spent now can save you maybe a grand or more down the year.
