the John Mayer Band trio live album is one of the better live efforts. Mayer gets called out for being an assclown in the media sometimes, but he is a serious student of the blues. he's done his homework, he knows how to play. i love that he turns the Stash chorus into a blues riff.

@SEVFEST the producer, James Guercio, made the decision to add in the sound collage in the middle. basically, if it's 1967, and you want to make a hit record, and you've been listening to Sgt. Pepper's, it makes sense to add it in there. but I agree, it's a ridiculous idea!

@zapzzd Yes, it's intentionally cheesy, we tried to make it like a bad infomercial. this was made as a school project, not an actual instructional video. however, my wife's teaching methods are all serious, even if we presented them in a ridiculous way.

@notmefuckingname if you look at some vids from the 80s, and even 1990 and other 1991 shows, Fish is on the right, in the standard line. maybe they just switched it up a few times...

this would work well as a string quartet, but these MIDI strings are killing me. still, A for effort. put this into score and get an actual string quartet to play it, then you'll have something worthwhile
