Hi! I'm Alex Scarbrough a transplanted Memphian living in Colorado for the last +30 years. I'm a dedicated follower of the Lord Jesus Christ with a wife and two grown children. I've been engaged as a geologist in the exploration and development of hard minerals in 25 states and Canada since 1975. My favorite music includes Old-Timey, early Rock n' Roll, and Stax-produced Soul gendres. However, I like just about everything but Rap! I play the fiddle, banjo, guitar, and electric bass. I also enjoy vintage cars from the 1950s and 1960s and have an all-original largely un-restored 1955 V-8 Chevy Bel-Air. The history of the Civil War is another of my strong interests - particularly as it relates to battles in which my Great-Grandfather's unit Company E (Dixie Rifles), 13th Tennessee Infantry Regiment, CSA participated. The background photo is the Tennessee State Monument, "Passing of Honor," at Shiloh National Military Park in Hardin County, Tennessee..
