About Me:

Hello, Thank you for visiting my profile! I am a young musician at the age of 15, I play harpsichord, piano, oboe, mandolin, english horn, and also some clarinet. I am from Texas, USA.
I will never be a successful harpsichordist, but I practice hard and try my best. I have a very strong interest in the harpsichord, and i myself, enjoy playing baroque music written for it.

"With his fleet fingers and natural feeling for the keyboard, [Tenifus] is a developing talent well worth watching"
-Elaine Comparone (Harpsichordist)

*Commonly asked questions*
Who are your favorite composers?:
J.S Bach, Vivaldi, D. Scarlatti, Seixas, etc.

Do you play piano or organ?:
I started at 5 and stopped at 14. Once I got into the harpsichord, I still played both. But after a while I realized I really need to focus on harpsichord, which I chose over piano. I do not play organ---yet. I should probably begin soon.

Do you think you are good at harpsichord & oboe?
I wouldn't say I'm good, yet, but I could say I'm improving.

What's the difference between the harpsichord and piano?:
Lots of things. Check out the video I made about it

Do you own a harpsichord?
Not yet, but soon! I borrow one from a church for practice and another one for lessons.

Do you plan on playing in college?:
Possibly. I still have time to think. I get asked, "What is a major in harpsichord gonna get you?"

P.S. In reference to the question of whether you will play the harpsichord in college or not, I think it would be great to be an expert in something others don't have knowledge of. I don't see a lot of harpsichord players out there, so it would be sad if such a beautiful instrument & talent faded.

Yia sou Tenifus! Just so you know, a real Greek salad does NOT have any lettuce in it! Thank you for understanding the difference between Greece's political system & economy as compared to its history, language, music, dances & traditions. Since you are a musician you may be interested in Greek traditional or "folk" music which has other influences as well & uses instruments we aren't familiar with in US. To me it is fascinating & you find variations depending on the region it's from. Welcome to the timeless world of Ellada (Greece)!

Greetings! Glad to be your friend. If you practice hard and you love playing the harpsichord and believe in yourself, you can be successful. Keep doing what you are doing. Don't give up, you are very good. Do what you love and love what you do. Do what makes you happy. All the best to you! :)

Hello, hello. I'm doing well. I've been on a trip for the past three weeks. This summer I wrote some film music and am studying 3 Scriabin Etudes.
