My name is Gabby
I'm 17 and a senior in high school
I've been riding for roughly 5 or so years and have been writing for about 10 years (I started young lol Horrid stuff back then)

I'm purely an eventer. I've tried hunter before and frankly, it bores me. I have recently, and am willing to, show hunter if the pony I'm working with is a hunter or it is their first time showing. Otherwise, I'd rather be jumping cross country then do outside line, diagonal, outside line, diagonal.
I'm purely a gelding person. I have yet to find a mare I really liked and it'll probably be like that for a while.
I'm also a pony person. I have yet to meet a pony I didn't like. I love the bratty ponies the most! (Minus Cisco of course. He tries to be a brat though but it doesn't really work lol) The ones that rear up and think they are all tough and all you gotta do is sit there until they are done with their little tantrum lol I actually find that really fun!

De Ponies:
Schuyler: Pronounced Skyler. Not Shoeler.
Sky is a silver dapple Welsh Mountain Cross at 11.2 hands high. He is really the first pony for me to get my confidence on. After him, everything went up hill.
Before him, I rode this gelding named Buster who didn't help me much in the confidence department. One day my trainer put me on Sky and a few months later I was jumping cross country and making plans to event him.
After two years, I grew out of him but I didn't want that to be the end of me working with him. So I decided to drive him. Since then, every driving show we've gone to, I've only received blues (Great, I just jinxed myself)

Cisco: We aren't entirely sure what he is or where exactly he came from. We just know he came from Ohio and think he's a mustang (a breeder recognized him and said he is probably part Kiger Mustang) Ever since it's been a running joke that he has Mustang Instincts and Mustang Fury lol
Cisco is a buckskin pony at 14.2 hands high. He is a good boy at heart and really wants to do what you want. He tries his best not to let me fall (instead of running the opposite when when I'm starting to fall one way, he'll try to follow me. He's kept me from falling multiple times) He's saved my butt on several occasions. (Like when it was the last jump, I lost my stirrup, the jumps were 2' 3", and I accidentally set him up for an easy refusal. Jumped it clear and moved with me after the jump when I start to lean too far one direction lol I love that boy)

Butch: He is a 15.3 hand high, three year old, Swedish Warmblood stallion. He's not only tall but built!
He's a sweetheart though not many see that in him. He wants to play a lot and all you gotta do is play back when you can and tell him no playing when you can't.
He's been broken undersaddle this year and hopefully I'll get to just hop on him soon (Hint, hint Heather!)

Boomer: He is one of those carousel horses at the fair grounds. The ones that go around and around with the little kids on their back.
I'm training him for this little girl over the summer. He's made great improvements and went from a rearing brat to a calm camper pony in a week's time. The first day, I had to have someone hold him with a chain to keep him still while I picked his feet. Now he'll stand relatively still in the cross ties while his little girl picks out his feet.
