Return to Bharam Chak
From the May 15, 2008, TMU concert in the Brown Theatre.
"The Music of Bharam Chak" is a five-movement suite of experimental music performed as percussion theatre. The composition and setting of the work is by Chris Mayer.
The piece depicts the original Masters of Time, the ancient culture of Bharam Chak. The remains of their city are at the origin point, the central axis of the multiverse.
The five movements are: Creation Music, Temple Music, Court Music, Martial Music and Dream Roads of Bharam Chak. While the entire suite follows this order, the individual movements can be experienced in any sequence.
Set elements designed and built by Mike Fell. City models by Wayne Farley. Masks by Calandra Allen, Adam Bazil, Angela Frank, Kris Nuss, Brett Rethmeier, Alexie Smith, and Jillian Tatutm.

Concert celebrating five years of Temporal Mechanics Union, 2002 - 2007. Presented Thursday, May 10, 7:30 PM in the Brown Theatre. The concert features the suite "5s," a collection of performance concepts and compositions by the ensemble members.

From the concert presented Thursday, December 8, 2005, in the Brown Theatre. This video playlist includes a montage of the percussion theatre work "MIGRATIONS for marimba and percussion ensemble" by Todd Harper, which had its premeire performance at this concert.
