Hey thanks for stopping by man! Yeah I see that type of behaviour everywhere on youtube. Person one going off against person 2 about different musicians. Even underneath a Birelli Lagrène vid people were bashing Malmsteen! Not only are they 2 different guitar players, Lagrène is a (gypsy-)jazz player, Malmsteen is a neoclassical shredder! It's like any other cultural difference to me. One believes in God, other in Allah, both are supernatural beings with different sets of rules, but still they get very upset with one another. I don't believe in God and I listen to both Malmsteen and Lagrène with equal pleasure (when Malmsteen was inspired that is). It seems to be part of the human will to belong, or "groupishness" as Matt Ridley calls it.
