Parkour, freerunning, TeachingParkour is the Big picture, while as free running is a style of parkourParkour: in its purest form is seen as efficient movement from point A to point B as swiftly, energy efficiently, and as self preserving - not getting hurt- as possible. its also knows as the art of movement with only the human body, and its environment.Free Running: is a cross of Tricking, and Parkour. you are still moving through an environment, but now you add the idea of tricking, dancing, or gymnastics - depending of the Traceurs style of free running- into the equation. Because many do not see the addition of flips as efficient movement, many consider Free running to no longer be parkour. however, some say that this addition is constituted by parkour co-definition "the art of movement" so, in the end its all up to perspective.
