If you watch this at work, one of you will get fired.

You've seen the video, now buy the t-shirt? Maybe? I dunno.

***about the time YOU've uploaded ....

Hey mate,
i've started checking your vids about the time i've uploaded Sproinkin into Envirohurdles (which i really enjoyed for it's music, the edition and of course the moves!). Having seen your other vids i should state something: i respect you for the way you move, cause it's pretty clear that you searched for and built your own path!
Only recently i have subscribed to your account tough, and having seen your debate about Danny's recent vid i would like to say a couple things (hope you'r not too damn tired of reading such comments anyways...).
Yes, Danny's vid absolutely inspired me during my training when i was afraid to perform a precision because of the height! But, i think i was only able to deal with the words about choosing to fall or not after much time of practice and many faillures...

I'm from Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and began training parkour in mid 2006. I know that it's not a time that allows me to say "'i've been doin' this for a long period..."... Tough i'm one of the tracer with more time of practice over here, i reckon i'm only in the beggining of my trip. Even so, as i've felt more times, i think i'm pretty more awared of the risks than the one's starting right now! ( maybe that's why they develop much rapidly!). And for my "consiousness" that risks exist, everytime i overcome some difficulty it has a special taste to me, if you know what i mean... Like, i could have done a 10 foot precision jump (in high place) on my first day, but i wouldn't give the same value to it....

Having talked too much, what i hoped to express is that:
1) i agree with you: you can't simply tell people (mainly the one's starting now) that all they have to do is "to chose not to fall"....
2) Danny's advices are pretty much useful once you consider tracer with some experience and understanding about what parkour is.... in fact i've commented on Cris's channel saying that the words of Danny were a way of being always remembered as the good tracer he is (rather than all his only-motion vids)!

3) I couldn't not mention an idea from one of Blane's posts at his blog (the post about de 301 monkey pass precisions) about the "law of the averages"... He concluded that it's not true that the chances to fall increase with repetition of the movement, as long as you remain focused and concentrated! and i would like to add: focus and concentration are something that has to be exercised over some time, so that, once you have enough experience you cand trust yourself....have confidence in yourself...."chose not to fall"...
So, you could only develop to that level which Danny talked about after time of practice...But that goes against the sentence :" practice isn't gained over year of practice"...
To solve this "problem" i would say that, to me not only time of practice gives you confidence, but also all the knowledge about the discipline you gain over the years....
Peace,
and May the Flow Be With You!

No dude i get it, its like people thinking they can be like tony hawk so they go an ollie a ten stair and Boom blow their knees out... shit happens and when you just think you can do it having no experience shit is gonna happen alot sooner then later. And i was just naming names on the traceurs that people know, if i mentioned Julian or Cyrus everyone would have been all "huh??" are they famous, well maybe not yet but they are just the everyday average dudes i get to chill with that blow my mind! they are seriously some of the best i have met and i have got the chance to meet a few "famous" people in the Parkour World and you dont see me trying what they try because i like how my body works right now and it doesnt need to breakdwown because i thought that kong-gainer looked cool when i can barely gainer unless i focus like a madman

No dude i see where your coming from, i dont think he was saying not to train in all aspects but more of dont train with just the future in mind and spend more time just doing what your able to.. if everyone went out and tried Barani's off ledges and Precisions that go 10ft across to a statute then front tuck off it; There would be alot of screwed up people and Parkour/Freerunning wouldnt be the same.yea im totally jealous you got to chill with Ilabaca an pick his brain so of course you know him better and his views/philosophies but i was just commenting on that fact that you seemed to totally put down what he was saying like it was garbage and we all should spend our time training so we dont fall(and the Choose not to fall theory was bogus or something) but thats just the way it seemed like you were coming across but thats just me...
Best wishes and Keep up the training
