Tegan Effie Mitchell also known as (BluSH) loves the feeling when she sings; and hasn't stopped since a young age, there is plenty of video's of her running around the house, thinking she was a superstar. Tegan has participated in a number of talent quests, which dates back to her first experience at the tender age of 13. Tegan has also auditioned for the well renowned Australian Idol, which was an ideal learning experience as they saw great potential within her singing. Furthermore Tegan has performed consistently for the past 3 years at the annual 'ACT Groove Hip-Hop Competition'; where she demonstrated her vocal abilities in a range of songs, which even encompassed a creative remix of several hip hop songs.

Tegan has also demonstrated her abilities within the musical theatre sector; where she successfully auditioned for a role within the 'Miss Saigon' experience. This was a great achievement, considering she had no experience, what so ever within musical theatre. In addition her participation in the 'Miss Saigon' production has further extended her opportunities to other musicals, for example; Tegan played an essential role as one of the lead 'narrators' in the recently performed, 'Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat' extravaganza. As the end of 2010 approaches, Tegan has accepted an important role in next season's musical production 'Jesus Christ Superstar' which will commence early 2011. Tegan is highly grateful for these opportunities, and has enjoyed every aspect of these experiences thoroughly.
To further develop her performance skills

Tegan participated in a sequence of dancing lessons, which was conducted at Canberra's finest Hip-hop dancing agency: 'Dance Central'. Tegan gained a lot through this experience, as she encompassed and developed more confidence and knowledge within the entertaining aspect of her performance. Furthermore she was also given the opportunity to teach a youthful musical theatre class, which she happily agreed to., Tegan produced three extravagant musical productions with her class; which has left parents and fellow colleagues amazed. However her last production with the agency has recently concluded, which is due to her aspirations of becoming a successful artist. Meaning Tegan is now focusing on her music, as she aspires to push herself to her full potential with Tegan Effie Mitchell the artist.

Tegan states: Someone needs to see something in me and I hope you all do, hopefully I will be able to reach more people through my singing as i continue to produce music. All Tegan wants is you to know who Tegan Effie Mitchell the artst is..
