I saw Robin and the lads at Asbury Park (NJ) Convention Hall about a hundred or so years ago. I couldn't hear anything for a few days afterwards ....but it was worth it! hahahaha

It's always a fine day when I can hear Robin and James and Bill. Some freaking band!

Whenever I hear this tune, it makes me smile!!!

@LittleRoni47 At his funeral, Rod Stewart called Jimmy "the Pavarotti of Rock." Quite a compliment. He had such a thrilling, gritty, soulful voice. I was fortunate enough to have seen the RT/Dewar/Lordan line-up. Some freaking band!

What I want to know is why isn't Robin Trower in the R&R Hall of Fame? That's a crime.

@Zeekiebusta British director, Richard Lester, did the honors on "Hard Day's Night." I think Lester also directed the Beatles 2nd move, "Help." He was popular in the '60's and '70's and did a lot of comedies, as I recall.

Absolutely stunning song! I'd forgotten how powerful and majestic Procol Harum's brilliant compositions truly were.

Such a beautiful album. I used to play this for my boys when they were still little when we went for drives, still in their car seats. They'd stop wailing and just listen. Today, both boys love this album too!

This song is pure John Lennon. He's cautioning all the Beatles fans that a revolution must start in your mind -- the way you think -- not by throwing bricks through windows. Anyway....great live performance by the best band ...ever!

"Help," the Beatles 2nd movie, was a blast! So much fun! Beautiful locations, including the Swiss Alps and the Bahamas, a silly but hilarious story line -- the lads were horsing around through it all -- and, of course, more great Lennon/McCartney compositions. See it...you'll love it!

I think this was recorded at The Beatles Shea Stadium (NYC) concert. The fans were so loud that the lads could hardly hear themselves playing. They blew lyrics and chords, not that anyone noticed, or cared! After all, this was Beatlemania!!

The boys were having a good time making this video, particularly with the dancing girls toward the end. Fab 4 were among the first bands to actually make videos. This one is pretty trippy. Ringo's drum kit keeps changing size, among other things! Very cool stuff!

Really nice harmonies and a pretty tune. Of course, the lads were just acting here, since this is a scene from their first movie, "A Hard Day's Night" -- a sort of "day in the life of the Beatles"-type movie. If you haven't seen this movie, do so. It's so much fun and fascinating to watch the ...

When Lou was recording this, David Bowie offered to help. Lou was bright enough to accept the offer. The result was a great, great LP; namely, "Transformer." DBs fingerprints are all over this album. Listen to the backing vocals..that's Bowie and his side-kick, Mick Ronson.

I grew up in a very strict home. My Dad was a lifer in the US Marine Corps and retired as a Master Gunnery Sergeant (If you know anything about the Corps, you know what type of person I'm talking about) He hated rock but when I sat him down to listen to this album, he listened, and then he turn...

BTW...my two boys, aged 11 and 9, are confirmed Beatles fans. I've always given them a steady dose of Fab 4, and now...they're converting their classmates! The magic lives on!!

Hearing the lads horsing around always brings a smile to my face. This was such a magical time for rock, and The Beatles were the gurus to a generation, showing the way to everyone else.

RIP John, George. Sure wish you were still with us, to show a new generation what rock music is all about.....
