Yeah i used to own a spectrum 128k +2 when i was 7 and im hoping to add one again to collection and my best friend had a commodore 64 and all i can say is that i have many great memories with both.

Maybe one day I'll get an Acorn Electron, since that was the first system that I ever had. The C64 I'm not too bothered about, even though I think it's a great system, because it does seem very similar to the Atari 8-bit (which I already have) in terms of the games that have been released on it, and the way the games look. But I am going to start doing a lot more retro game reviews from now on, as I don't think I've done that many of them yet, and I'm just more in the mood these days for doing retro game reviews anyway.

thanks, will check out the belt. The drive itself is of course spinning (and spinning the disk when 'tricked'/inserted before powerup). Will check the diagnostics dos command sequences too, I found the original manual maybe clears some things out. The psu is checked and works (outputs/inputs voltages) properly.
