Did you know? We met on October 31! That means we made friends on Halloween. I have never gotten a better treat in my life. When I met you I was so run down and sad and you immediately cheered me up. You made me laugh with your silliness and you made me cry with your own life story. You told me not to cry because I was being silly myself. Now I know it was just because you were stronger than I was. In every way. That is just the way you were. You are inspiring me even today to be as strong as you were. And you touched so many others in the same way you touched me. I wouldn't give away those conversations for the world. They mean so much to me, I just never knew how much until I would never have another again. I only got to know you over the last few months, but I consider you a friend. A friend who I will never forget. I miss you, Magnus. But I want to thank you. Thank you for picking me up when I was down. Thank you for listening to me when god knows your life was harder than mine. Thank you for being my friend. And thank you for being there even though I never thanked you. I'm just sorry I had to thank you in a goodbye. May angels lead you in, Magnus. You deserve to rest.
