The dotted fabric that is currently used is a higher grade, low pill designer cotton flannel than what was previously used for my current pad design. I'm always in the market for a better polka dot fabric and this one I'm offering is the best I've used so far for my pad design. The color selection is much better as well (visit my shop to see).

MY SHORT STORY:
A few years ago I moved to the UAE and had the most difficult time finding a sanitary napkin that didn't irritate me. Oh the first 6 months or so living there was a complete mess when it came to that time of the month. One day looking online I discovered that there were many companies that sold cloth menstrual pads. I right away wanted to buy them, but then thought, "Hey why not try to make my own" so after doing a lot of research, I came up with my first design just in time to test them out. They worked okay, but needed more drawing board time. I kept trying and over time I came up with many different types and styles. Each one a little better than the last batch made. At the time I liked the maxi w/soaker pad method most, so for the first 2 years I made and used those and was satisfied.
Deciding to wear cloth pads was one of the best decisions I've made in my life. It's been 3 years, I'm back home here in the US and I'm still pro-cloth pads. I am also a pro at making and wearing them! I feel cleaner, fresher, healthier and chemical-free when menstruating. Hmph, disposables never made me feel the way I do today so why turn back to wearing them? Look, this might sound crazy, but I no longer mind having my period (honestly). I have shared this wonderful news with my family, friends and even blogged about it a few times to encourage others to give cloth a try (and many have, successfully).
This cloth pad design you see here is my latest and most effective I've made. It is designed with YOU in mind and not so much of what works best for myself. A few months ago I put together a review team to help me get over the marketing myopia and they gave this current model and its accessories a thumbs up on design, effectiveness and durability...and so do I and I've been using them faithfully with no complaints. I hope you will join the Pro-Cloth movement whether you choose to buy pads from me or elsewhere, cloth is better! Sure it will be a little more work, but YOU are worth every bit of it.
