About Me:

I started to play the organ (Yamaha Electone) when i was 8 years old. Since i had not much fun with these instruments i stopped to attend lessons when i was 20 years old. Then i did nothing (musically) for about one year and then started to play the piano.

Heres a short overview of my equipment and the way the videos are recorded.

First configuration:
Piano: Yamaha CLP-990
Computer: Intel Core2Duo E6600, 2Gb Ram, Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Music
Software: Steinberg The Grand 2
Camera: Fuji FinePix S5500

My Piano is connected to my Computer via MIDI-Interface. The Grand 2 renders the piano sound and the computer records the output.
The camera just records the video, no microphone is used.

After recording i use a video editing software to multiplex and syncronize audio & video.

Second configuration:
Piano: Ferd. Manthey
Computer: Intel Core2Duo E6600, 8Gb Ram, Edirol UA-25EX sound interface, Beyerdynamics MCE 530 Stereoset
Software: Cakewalk Sonar 6 LE / VideoPad Video Editor
Camera: Fuji FinePix S5500

Third configuration:
Piano: Yamaha CLP-990
Computer: Intel Core2Duo E6600, 8Gb Ram, Edirol UA-25EX sound interface
Software: Cubase 5 Essential, Steinberg The Grand 3, VirtualDub
Camera: Fuji FinePix S5500 / Nikon D90

This configuration is similar to my first configuration. Just the audio interface has changed and the vst has been replaced to the newer version.

Latest configuration:
Piano: Roland HP307
Computer: Intel Core2Duo E7600, 8Gb Ram, Edirol UA-25EX sound interface
Software: Cubase 5 Essential, Steinberg The Grand 3, VideoPad Video Editor
Camera: Nikon D90
