TBoy was born in Sierra Leone where the chaos and havoc of war determined his fate and changed his life forever. The "Blood Diamond War" eventually drove him out of his home country to the Republic of Gambia and ultimately to the United States. Without his parents in the United States with him, TBoy experienced life similar to most American refugee children. Through his difficult life experiences and his struggles in his transition to live a normal American's childhood and teenage life, TBoy relates a lot of his music to his own personal experiences and struggles. Currently a student at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN, TBoy has thrived and grown from his life experiences.
