In the mid-90's, Taylor was the guitarist for "Orange 9MM", a post-hardcore band who rocked the stage at the The Warped Tour three years in a row and toured extensively with such acts The Deftones, The Misfits, Kid Rock, among others. He co-wrote 9MM's biggest single "Failure" which appeared on the album "Tragic" on Atlantic Records.

Opting for studio above stage, Taylor has composed music for over 100 spots in an eclectic mix of styles for Verizon, Chrysler, Mitsubishi, Cotton,Visa, Miller Lite, Sears, Lego, Mcdonalds and Coke, to name a few.

Recently, Taylor co-wrote the bonus track "Jungle in the Circus" for Gavin Rossdale's latest record, Wanderlust. Also he co-wrote the theme song to "Pinky Dinky Doo", a successful children's show on the Noggin Network. You can also hear Taylor's voice singing the theme song for Mark Burnetts new show called "Jingle" coming out in the fall.

Taylor's forte is composing original songs, which means writing lyrics and often lending his vocals. He is also well known for his
creative arrangements of licensed tracks. Apart from the occasional elctronic exploration,Taylor insists on working with live instruments and plays most of them himself.(including real drums, a rarity these days) which produces an authentic and dynamic sound, making him a highly sought-after composer.

An avid skateboarder,BMX and snowboarder,Taylor attributes his love of
sports for keeping him and his music "young at heart."
