Who is Kiki Strike? Good question. Here's all you need to know right now . . . I am the founder of the Irregulars--a band of delinquent girl geniuses who protect the forgotten tunnels beneath Manhattan that are known as the Shadow City. I'm fluent in a dozen languages, I can break into any building, and I've been known to kick butts twice the size of mine. (You've got to be tough when you're 4'10.) And like any girl mastermind worth her salt, there's a series of books devoted to my bizarre adventures.

I am the legendary Kiki Strike. If you see me do not say hello or anything. Leave me be. I am dangerous, and mysterious. I am fifteen years old, but I'm more dangerous then I look.
