Taste Vancouver Food Tours was founded by Jewel Taylor, a local Vancouverite. Jewel was born in Horseshoe Bay, a small fishing village just outside of Vancouver. In her 20's she travelled internationally for 5 years in order to discover and experience other cultures, cuisines, arts and architecture. It was on this world wide adventure that she developed her love of people, fine food, arts and culture. Upon her return from her international travels, she studied restaurant management and opened a restaurant herself before getting married and starting a family.
