My name is Tassie, I used to live in Launceston Tasmania back in the 60's 70's & 80's but being back to Launceston numerous times to see friends and family and just taking in the breathtaking beauty of Tasmania. I just recently came back from a holiday in Launceston on September 10th 2009 saw all the beautiful snow on the mountains! I saw also 2 beautiful Border Collies hearding sheep in the North-east of Tasmania on my way back to Launceston fron St Helens this August 09!. Its the land of Border Collies and sheep! I have lived in sunny Queensland the past 22 years, too much of the sun here and heat I reckon, sick of it over a while! I love Indian Ringnecks Parrots, other pet Parrots and mad about Border Collies after falling in love with a friends dog late 2007. I travel seeing the Border Collie shows just recently went to Canberra in March 2009 to the National Border Collie Show. I love 1960'S to 1970'S music, mainly northern soul, motown and music played on local Australian radio 2SM,3XY,7EX,7LA,7HO,3KZ,2UW,2CA ect.. on these radio stations in those years. I believe the protest music of the 1970'S had a message for the young generation growing up to learn too love one another before it is too late, about damaging the envoirment, greed, war. loving your brother Ect Also being a warning for our generation now in the world more than ever than it was back then! At the rate we were then (the 70's) soaking the freedoms, young kids rebelling against there parents, the drug culture (taking everything for granted ect) as we had as young people back then in time would cause future generations to be very violent, corrupt and rebellious to have less respect for authority, enviroment and respect for others and ourselves (Look at our society today. 2 Timothy 3:1-4) eventually destroy ourselves before God the spring cleaner steps in and destroys the world like he would do in the movie 2012 punishing mankind like what God did in Noah's flood and start all over again!. I always called the 1970's "That We Will Be The Last Generation"; the very last of the happy and good times sadly! I do a bit of travelling every now and then around Southern Australia and my former home Tasmania as well as Far North Queensland (Camping). I enjoy being at home, doing things on the computer, watch the occasional movie, go for walks spend time out in the bush, getting away from the busyness of life going bush or catching up with old mates.
