About this user

Robert attended the Green Street Elementary School in Somersworth, New Hampshire followed by the Estabrook Doran Elementary School in Berwick, Maine . He then attended Noble Junior High in Berwick, Maine . Robert attended Noble High School and graduated in 1988 with honors.

While in high school, Robert was an office aide for three years, a peer counselor in T.H.I.N.K. (a student to student peer counseling group) in his freshman year and was selected as a Boys State (a week-long study of Maine Government at U Maine Orono) Delegate in his Junior year.

During and after high school Robert worked in the retail industry at various levels from Stock to Management for 15 years and is currently a disabled American who operates online Web Hosting and Design sites as-well-as a Computer Tech Support Website with his wife Pauline as-well-as working part-time at Family Dollar on Lincoln Street.

He is a long-time community activist. He is currently a Resident Representative on the Weed & Seed Steering Committee, a Resident Representative on the Makin' It Happen (MIH) Coalition Management Team (CMT), an Elementary/Middle/High School Parent Representative on the District In Need of Improvement (DINI) Professional Development (PD) Team, Co-Founder and Captain of Neighbors 2 Neighbors (N2N) A Community Connected (An Inner City Community Service/Crime Prevention Group) and is an MPD Community Policing Substation Volunteer.

Robert has a stepson (Cory), two sons (Robert and Michael) and a daughter (Bethany). Robert has been deeply involved in their education beginning with Head Start where he was the State/Local Community Representative for Southern New Hampshire Services (SNHS) Head Start Policy Council here in Manchester from 2001 to 2004. Robert serves on, and is a former President of, the Henry Wilson Elementary School Partners In Education (P. I. E.) Parent Group.

He and his wife, the former Pauline E. Plante, reside on Spruce Street here in Manchester with their children.
