Thank you guys ! A very authentic version of the last real good Softmachine album from 1977 (except Soft Space 1 + 2) I wish, the Softmachine legacy would play that way again, but they refuse to invite a keyboardplayer ! Have you some more Softmachine covers ?

@metamorphosis67 You are right and I agree to your comment. I wonder, what happened to the public´s perception of music at the late 70s and early 80s and since..I always said, that the political and cultural world began to change than (Reagan/Thatcher/Kohl era) and the rise of people like Rupert...

Passport ~ Ostinato
German Fusion Jazz ~ Infinity Machine 1976
The main motive on bass is "just" a 4/4 Ostinato (Gadd9) but it is intricate to keep the time (on bassguitar) here. The present analog synth sounds were a "revolution" back in January 1976 ! My God, I just can´t believe that almost 36 years have passed away since !

The best part here ist the 3/4 rhythm theme from 4:30 to 6:20. I think german Jazz bassist Eberhard Weber would like it, because it sounds like one of his own compostions.. (r.i.p. Michael Small)

Soft Machine (Madrid 2011) 2nd show 1 "Bundles"
Sala Clamores de Madrid 20 de mayo de 2011
Primer tema del segundo pase.
What a poor and sad version of the original from the "Bundles" album ! Why do they refuse to invite a new keyboardist? The BUNDLES power has gone totally ! The reason simply can´t be, that they are 36 years older now. What happened to the SOFTS ?

I wonder, why they have omitted it from the LP back in 1977 (released in March 1978). I think it fits more on that album than "Soft Space". But now we can listen to it at least (33 years later !)

it is interessting what he´s talking about.
