Tara Lynn Phillips, born and raised in Auburn, MA moved to NYC at age 17 for theater training with big dreams of being an actress just like all the other cocktail waitresses in New York. After 7 years of auditioning, bad dinner theater and graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, she found herself in Miami Beach for a 2 year vacation while employed at the famous Hotel Victor on Ocean Drive but it wasn't long until the natural born entertainer inside her needed to bust out again. So after some unfortunate family losses and bouncing around the country for a few years trying to get her shit together, not to mention inheriting 2 houses and planning 4 funerals, Tara has finally ended up exactly where all the other crazy driven aspiring actresses do. Hollywood, CA. Tara spent all of 2009 back in theater training, improv, scene study, hosting workshops, commercial and on camera classes. She also has fallen in love with the art of pole dance! She is a proud owner of 2 xpoles and teaches beginner lessons an also trained at Bespun and Allure pole dance studios in LA. Tara played the lead role of "America" in Strip the Play in LA and Las Vegas in 2010-2011.
Tara is a working actress represented by Venture IAB and Ellison Entertainemnt.
