Around mid January of 2008 I saw a video of Tom Cruise acting goofy. "So what!" I thought, he always acts goofy. Then on January 30 while reading the new PA comic I was introduced, by Tycho, to Steven Fishman and his deposition. Tycho mentions that it is the mother of all rabbit holes. No kidding!
By the 31 of January, I was now educated as to what co$ truly was. 5,999,999,999 +/- 20,000 people to go.
Also on the 31st I saw "The Video". For all I know I could be the 1,000,000th viewer.
I went to the protests on the 10th in my area. I witnessed the beginning of the end of the cult of scientology. I feel that that is minor compared to what is really going on.
For decades this cult has secretly and systematically breached the ethics of our nation, protected by our government, our media, and our own laws.
The Internet, as dangerous as it can be, gives every single member of the world a voice. Democracy has finally begun.
Now we come full circle to ancient Rome, and the assassination of an emperor planning to return his power to the senate, and restore a hybrid of democracy and republic.
The Ides of March are yet upon us some 3000 times later, and I leave you with yet another warning:
"Beware of those who would try to control the Internet!"
