Tao Films is the brainchild production company of IMDB credited Edward Hatfield and Monica Barajas. Their first film was a short called "Foxxy Madonna vs. the Black Death" and submitted to the 48 Hour Film Challenge 2006 winning Top 15 award then on to Filmapalooza 2007 to win Best Use of Spy Genre.It is currently competing internationally with dvds on sale nationally. The film was a first-time collaberation with Cinephreak Pictures and was co-written by Edward Hatfield. Monica Barajas starred as Foxxy Madonna in her second role under the direction of Jakob Bilinski. Barajas previously co-starred in Cinepreak Pictures' "Shade of Grey" with Hatfield in charge of sound production and editing. Tao Films is currently focusing on its first feature length film.Our goal is to make important and unique movies in an effort to contribute to the growing independent film industry.
