An electrifying duo well known for their energetic live performances, Roxana and Fabian come together to transform themselves into a single spirit to express desire, sadness, love and passion through the power of dance.
Like the tango itself, Roxana Callegari and Fabian Belmonte were born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.Raised to live and breathe tango culture, they have followed their passion for the past 20 years, performing and teaching the art to captivated audiences around the globe. Appearing in many fabled theatres and dance halls in the United States, Canada, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and Europe, the duo has performed extensively in Buenos Aires including the Palais de Glace,Astral Theatre,La confiteria Del Molino,Glorias Argentinas,and the prestigious theatre Luna Park,tango bar,Esquina Homero Manzi,among many others.
In 2005 and 2006, the pair was chosen as one of the best Argentine tango dancers' ambassadors around the world to judge the First and Second World Tango Competition in Tokyo, Japan. Roxana and Fabian received the 2003 Latin American Achievement Award for Best Latin Folklore Presence in Canada, an accomplishment they consider to be one of their finest.
Roxana and Fabian have performed as a soloist couple with major American symphony orchestras across North America including: Washington DC, Kalamazoo,Buffalo, Laval, Sudbury,Billings and Windsor. They were engaged as choreographers and dancers in the 2002 film, The Tuxedo, a Steven Spielberg/Dreamworks production starring Jackie Chan and Jennifer Love Hewitt. In 1998,they participated and won an international dance contest produced by the biggest Spanish language television show in Miami, Fla.titled Sabado Gigante (Stars of the Future).In 2005,the couple made a remarkable television appearance on a co-production between CBC and the Australian Broadcasting Coorporation. Used as the perfect metaphor for passion,the duo's performance was featured in the documentary program The Nature of Things with host David Suzuki, in an episode titled The Emotional Brain-Love. In 2000 and 2001, Roxana and Fabian created, produced and choreographed the Gold Tango Show, and were chosen by El Popular (Hispanic newspaper) as the Best Latin Show.

Estilos de Tango
Naci en Capital Federal,Bs.As. Argentina soy de un barrio en donde habitaron muchos famosos del genero tango, "Villa Pueyrredon" el cual es vecino de los barrios "Villa Urquiza" y Villa Devoto" tambien de gran estirpe tanguera, por la proximidad geografica y afortunada camine esos barrios desde pibe y para mi fueron siempre tres en uno.Y digo, los estilos de baile "Villa...mensionando un barrio" no existen,siempre se definio al tango danza, por Tango salon,o con corte=(canyengue y orillero), o fantasia=(demostracion), y doble frente=(demostracion).Lo mismo para el llamado estilo milonguero (término mal aplicado), jamas lo escuche hasta mediado de los 90; Por lo contrario en cambio existe la tecnica para poder dominar las diferentes formas de baile y abrazos,y expresar a travez de ella los sentimientos que cada individuo siente a su manera,cosa unica que se puede alimentar con historia del genero y haciendo llegar informacion de la cultura Rioplatense al estudiante pero no se puede enseñar, y menos imponer, el sentimiento es lo unico que un instructor no puede enseñar,no se puede enseñar a sentir.Es solo una opinion mia,nada mas,y si alguno la comparte esta bien,y si no sigan adelante con lo mejor que han aprendido y trabaje bien para ustedes.
