A channel hosting a collection of videos from my personal archives and material of similar content gathered from friends. Although I retain VHS recordings for most of the material here, I claim no copyright and my sole purpose for uploading these videos is educational.
I owe a debt of gratitude to patrons of art and knowledge, who have collected and preserved this material for future generations to enjoy.
Kudos to these amazing personalities and performers who have educated, enlightened and enthralled me over the years!

I use Roxio Media Import and a standard VHS recorder. Your computer would also need to have audio in and video in ports. I use two separate sets of leads; a composite video cable (RCA-RCA) and a 3.5mm jack to 2x Phono (2x RCA) audio cable. I find this works better than a splintered scart lead. You can also use a USB video/audio capture adapter, but I've not tried this before, so I'm not sure how well it works.
I have one performance of Tariq Lohar (Tera Rang Lal Lal), which has already been uploaded to my channel. I'll keep an eye out for Alam Lohar's songs and if I find any you'll be the first to know...
I WOULD BE MORE THAN GRATEFUL IF YOU CAN UPLOAD HIS VT APPEARANCES ON THE ABOVE TWO EMINENT PROGRAMMES FROM THE BBC PLEASE, INCLUDING 'PUSHPA HANS', 'DEEDAAR SINGH PARDESI', 'NARINDER BIBA', 'TARIQ LOHAR' AND OTHER FOLK ARTISTS TOO.
