I saw ads for Beefsteak Charlie's back when I lived in the Hudson Valley, and could get all the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut TV stations. The place was also advertised in Playbill for those who wanted to dine either before or after a Broadway show.

Back in 1983, my mom, sis, niece, and I went there for my birthday. They also showed movies there for entertainment. Wouldn't you know it, the movie playing there that day was "Frogs?"

For some odd reason, this reminds me of a story arc on "The Young And The Restless" when Ashley ran off to New York City, and met a friendly psychiatrist.

There was one mistake in the movie. They called The Left Banke a one-hit wonder, when they actually had two hits: "Walk Away, Renee," and "Pretty Ballerina."

I gotta admit it. Even Def Leppard's songs are way better than today's garbage.

I think there should have been an episode that focused on the un-named blonde girl.

I saw this episode for the first time today. Thought it was like Beauty And The Beast, when the bride to never be decided she loved the hideous mutant who tried to look handsome.

The spider and iguana looked like something out of a nightmare.

I remember 35 years ago at this time, my high school religion teacher said the little drummer boy had nothing to do with Christmas, since he wasn't mentioned in the Bible. I thought, "That may be, but the song does have some significance."

Notice that the dog looks just like Wimper from "The Clue Club."

Beautiful, but "The Nutcracker Scoob" should have been there, too.

This was way cool for a one-shot cartoon.

Those who slammed this movie are missing the point. People who mess up deserve second chances.

@texaspete66 It's on a CD that I have called Summer Of Love. This is a two-voume set, and also includes other hippie era songs, including an obscure number called "Flower Children" by Marcia Strassman. Yes, the same one who played Mrs. Kotter on TV.

It was never explained why the Manta Knights kidnapped Ariel. Yes, that's what I decided to call all young and beautiful mermaids.

I had this 8 track back in the day, but it was lost in the shuffle.

I saw this at an arthouse theater in my neighborhood a week ago. It was superb, and better than those stupid, plotless movies.

@greatguy200 It is. Frank Welker used that voice for Marvin, Pee Wee, and several other characters on Superfriends, including Loco, Styro, Toyman, and Mxlyplk.

Hitchcock decided not to use birds of prey like eagles, hawks, condors, and vultures for obvious reasons.

@poughkeepsiejohn And he wasn't even Cad. Cad didn't show up until the later episodes. Say, maybe he was the one who freeed Simon from the photograph, and Simon hired him as his permanent henchman.

This was one of the coolest animes ever. Who could ever watch it and not want to say, "TRANSMUTE!"?

Notice that the saloon is called the Longhorn. Could this have inspired the steakhouse chain?

The little monkey released the gorilla, and he did it intentionally, cuz he was jealous of Brownie, and wanted to be the star. If you don't believe me, look at his face just before he opens the cage.

What about the voiceover that introduced the cartoons?

This is a joke, right? Those "actors" looked like they were CGI. Besides, I doubt if the surviving cast members would agree to commit to this project.

Maybe the reason the previews are quiet is everyone's saying the same thing: "Our show's been cancelled, and I'm at a loss for words!" LOL!

@jfab64 Alfred wasn't dead, just knocked out. There were never any onscreen deaths in this series.

Too bad some of these actors are no longer on their shows.

The first criminal Simon captured is probably Rocky Maninoff from the "Tennessee Tuxedo" cartoons.

I defied the critics, and saw this today. If you go by their reviews, you're missing out on a winner.
