Hello again..I got the antibiotics through the national fox society after contacting their emergency mobile no, saying that the fox had been seen with open cuts & more loss of hair, that was after giving it their homeopathic stuff. The mobile no is on a recorded msg on their landline, not sure if im allowed to print it here but it can be found on their website. The fox has made a big improvement but luckily because its only the mangy fox that comes up onto my veranda, i can make sure its goes to the right fox, which does help! No buzzards in my garden to nick the foxes food only sparrowhawks picking off our smaller feathered friends which i hate to see but thats nature for you..Rebecca

Hello.Just seen the fox with mange vid.The national fox welfare society would be happy to help you treat this fox,if you dont mind putting their free treatment into some food for the fox. They have been great with helping me to try to help the fox that comes in my garden that has mange, ive now got a course of antibiotics for him & im hoping that will work..Hope you dont mind me contacting you like this its just that i know un-treated mange causes a horrible death.

yes i agree the trouble with under the compost heap means that also nasty ticks invade it and the poor hedgehog........most good pet shops sell hedgehog houses or you can buy a plastic rabbit dome with a little tunnel entrance and stuff it with meadown hay and put under the compost heap, pack it well and then with your fist maake an entrance inside by pushing your arm in
