Freelanced in the adult entertainment business in New Orleans, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and Hollywood. Visited most of the fifty United States as well as Canada, Mexico, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany.

Presently a consultant on transgender and commercial sex worker concerns and HIV/AIDS/STD prevention on the local, state, national and international levels. Clients included State of California's Office of AIDS, the Government of Viet Nam, and the federal C.D.C. in Atlanta. Former board of directors member of the St. James Infirmary in S.F., the only health clinic to service former and current commercial sex workers in the nation.

Since 2001, I was filmed in four documentaries. One entitled "Screaming Queens: The Riot at Comptons" is a worldwide film festival winner and was viewed nationwide on PBS Television stations (earned an Emmy Award in 2005). "TRANSforming Healthcare" was filmed and premiered in San Francisco in 2007; as well as being entered into the 2008 San Francisco International GLBT Film Festival. In 2005, I was awarded "Most Empowering Transgender Individual in San Francisco" by TEAM-SF. In 2006, was awarded "Best Community Service By An Individual" by the Harvey Milk Democratic Club. Both endeavors were recognized and acknowledged by local and state politicians. Previously in the last century, I was awarded the "Visibility Award" and "Volunteer of the Year Award" by the GAPA Community HIV Prevention Project in 1995; "Local Hero Award" by K.Q.E.D. Television and DuPont in 1999; and was voted "Honorary Parade Marshal" for the 1999 San Francisco PRIDE Parade. Another proud accomplishment was being invited by President Carter to the White House for three ceremonies, and I accepted two: a welcoming ceremony for Vice Premier Deng Xiao Ping of China and a welcoming ceremony for Premier Dasai of India (I politely declined the welcoming ceremony for Bresnev of the U.S.S.R.). I was equally proud when I was invited to private meeting with Vice President Al Gore and California Governor Gray Davis by San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown in 1998.
